One to watch

Magdalena has a fabulous fashion story to tell ... Born in Macedonia in 1980 to an architect mother and and musician father, Magdalena's initial influences were the realities of a common socialistic lifestyle and super creative surrounds ... growing up drawing, playing the piano, singing and of course making her first dress by age nine.  Migrating to Australia in 1991, Magdalena realised her career destiny after spending a week with the Zimmermann sisters during the very first Australian Fashion Week in 1996.  Completing a degree in fashion and textiles at the University of Technology in Sydney, she was snapped up by a PR agent at her graduating show and attention from media and editorial pages soon followed and had her dubbed as the "one to watch".  To ensure her successful future Magdalena went on to work for Australian designers such as Akira Isogawa, Pablo Nevada and Wayne Cooper before finally working her way up to be appointed as head designer for the Nicola Finetti brand.
